9:30am on Sunday, 15th of June at the Moe Library (entry details in additional info).

Join me for a relaxed and educational Sourdough making date.

This fun-filled session includes everything you need to unpack that 'too hard basket' you've been shoving Sourdough into.

Included:

  • A Sourdough making kit (valued at $59.95)
  • COOKEDIT's Sourdough Basics recipe book
  • A 30 year old sourdough starter (ready to use)
  • Two sourdough loaves to take home
  • 5 hours of fun filled, interactive and educational workshop with Kass
  • Enjoy baked goodies throughout the day, accompanied by tea and coffee
  • While learning all the skills to prepare you for sourdough making at home
  • Oh and you get access to our exclusive COOKEDIT Facebook community packed with lots of tools and resources.

We'll make sure you leave with the confidence and knowledge to continue your carb creation adventure effortlessly. Don’t miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the art of Sourdough baking.

During the workshop we'll cover:

  • Preparing a loaf from scratch (which you'll work on in the class and take home to bake). This also includes bulk fermenting, shaping, and moving it to proof in a banneton.
  • Sourdough starter: how it works, the difference between fridge stock and bench stock and how to feed it
  • Baking schedules and how you can work it into your everyday life so you're not a slave to your sourdough
  • Scoring your dough and baking it in the class, so you're taking home a freshly baked loaf (in addition to the loaf you'll bake at home). This is so you get the full experience from start to finish!
